Sajek Valley Resort is located on the border of Mizoram in the southernmost district of Rangamati of Bangladesh. Sajek is the largest union of the country, whose area is 702 square miles. India’s Tripura to the north of Sajek, Longadu of Rangamati on the south, Mizoram of India on the east, Dighinala of Khagrachari on the west.

Although Sajek Valley Resort is located in Rangamati district, its travel facility is from Dighinalala of Khagrachari. Coming from Rangamati via Kaptai by way of water, there are many ways to go Sajek. It is 70 kms away from the town of Khagrachhari. And 49 kilometers from Dighinala & 34 kilometers from Baghaihat.

Travelling Sajeke from Khagrachhari, you have to pass Dighinala army camp. After 10 no. How to go Sajek Valley Resort?

Khagrachhari can go from Dhaka by Shyamoli, Hanif and other transport buses. The rent will be Tk 520. Besides, if you want to go directly to Dighinala, the Santi Paribahon will be good decision and rent is 580 taka. BRTC and Sentmartin Paribahan’s AC buses are also in Khagrachari.

You can visit Sajek Valley Resort from Khagrachari by jeep (local name Chander gari) in a day. Rent will be 8500-10000 taka and 15 people can sit in a car. If people are less, then you can also go there by CNG from the city. Rent 4000-5000 taka. Although it is very risky to take the CNG. There is a possibility of overturn.

Otherwise, go from Khagrachari town to Dighinala and then go to Sajek. Dighinala on the bus is 45 tk per person, and a motor bike costs 100 tk per person. You can also visit by reserving the motorcycle at Tk 1000-1200 from Dighinala. You must cross Baghaihat army camp before the evening of the return. Otherwise, many questions have to be faced. It is forbidden to take photographs of the camp.

Where to eat?

Traditional System Restaurant located at Pankhai Para near Khagrachari city. Here you can eat traditional food of Khagrachari.

To have in Sajek, you can use the Runmay Resort. Besides, if you stay in Sajek Valley Resort, there are also eaten there. Apart from this, you can have a lunch with indigenous people in Ruillui and Kanglak para. For this reason, you have to tell beforehand how many people you want to eat, what you want to eat. 2) Runmoy Resort – It is located in Sajek. There are three rooms on the ground floor. There are 2 people in each room can stay. You can take extra bed with extra money. There are four tents, four people can stay each tent. Contact: 01862011852.

Don’t forget to go to the mysterious cave Alutila if have in Khagrachari town. There will be a diverse experience in this cave, located just off the city, just a fifteen minute trip. It seems as if you are taking part in an exciting expedition like Indiana Jones. There is dark whirl in the cave. So you have to take a torch or a light. Do not worry, you can buy a torch out of the cave.

On the way to Alutila, if you ask to the driver of the car, he will turn around from the nearest hill. The entire Khagrachari city view is available from here. Khagrachari town has a small hanging bridge. You can come to see it and you can swim in the river to end the whole day’s fatigue. You can return Dhaka by bus at night from there.
